I can't find much info on that because monitor and display are synonymous with way too many other computer stuff. Graphics cards detect monitor models reliably but where do they get that datum from? OCS Inventory shows the correct monitor name same name as what the graphics card shows but i prefer not to connect to a mysql database just for that info which was originally obtained from the PC that the ps script will run on.
