What's the total RAM available on the server? Whats the swap file size on the server? Did you check if there's any memory leak on the server? Ignore the first value, which does not show the paging file usage even if some sources claim that.

Our system team said not to try it since they are afraid what all caches would get released with that option. We wanted to know what was the actual reason behind this metafile eating up all this memory in one server and not in the other, when both are the same. We need to download DynCache and then copy the file DynCache. Now we can run the service using this command: sc start DynCache After running Dynamic Cache Service we will be able to see that the memory usage in the server has decreased to a normal amount.
